My Expertise
I’m Eric Ferguson, a licensed CPA in California with a background in audit, tax, and advisory services. I have several years of experience working at a Big Four firm, where I led complex financial audits for public and private companies, and I currently serve as a tax professional with a Sacramento-based CPA firm.
In addition to my full-time work, I provide tax preparation and advisory services for a small number of individual and business clients. My goal is to bring technical excellence, clear communication, and careful attention to every engagement, whether it's a straightforward return or a more complex tax situation.
Who I Am
My work in accounting is built on a foundation of diligence, integrity, and personal service. After earning degrees from the University of Michigan and Oakland University, and managing audit teams and multimillion-dollar engagements, I realized that the most rewarding part of the profession is building trusted relationships—helping real people make sound financial decisions with confidence.
As a Christian, I view this work as an opportunity for stewardship—serving others faithfully, with a commitment to honesty, precision, and care in every detail.
